Hatchings

I have added a few of the hatchings I have made to my homepage.
Not being able to draw proper coats of arms myself, this is my public contribution to the world of heraldry at the moment.

I am especially proud of the Lenz family coat of arms, because my hatching of Bernhard Peter's rendition has found its way into the Deutsche Wappenrolle ("DWR") of traditional German heraldic society HEROLD.

A hard task was Davor Zovko's rendition of the Baier arms, which I am quite happy with. And I am glad that both Davor Zovko and Martin Baier are pleased with the result, too...

Dear Dominik, your hatchings are perfect. I would have needed much, much more time to reach at least 10 % of your precision. I've never realised how it works in detail, that beats me, but I'm so glad that you have found a way.

I can try to explain - or you could use the time to draw more fine coats of arms and I do the hatchings
